Greetings from Costa Rica! Today, the team led day 3 of the VBS at El Ferry church. It was a bittersweet morning as we said goodbye to the many friends, new and old, that we’ve made. We had the opportunity to teach the children how God calls us to love everyone. The Lord Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself for our sake though we could never deserve it and chose to be our savior because of His great love and grace. In response to the Gospel, we are called to love others in a Christ like way, whether or not they deserve it. We witnessed nineteen children over the age of twelve commit their lives to Christ, and five between the ages of eight and eleven. We are grateful to God for allowing us to be conduits of His love in this place, and for the opportunity to share the glorious news of the Gospel here in Costa Rica. In the afternoon, we handed out invitations in the community for our program at Boca Baptist church which will begin tomorrow. Many members of our team of fallen ill during our mission, but God has faithfully given us strength and energy to persevere as we continue to depend on Him. Please keep us in your prayers!
