Hola families and friends back home! Our team is doing so well here in Costa Rica! We just successfully finished the first day at our first church VBS. We started our great day by having a wonderful breakfast. Next, we ran through today’s VBS for a couple of hours. We had lunch at the house and then zoomed off to the church. At the church we set up the name tags and games station. As the kids got there they got accompanied to the name tag station to write their name on a cross name tag. After they were done they went out to the games station to play games. During the VBS we had music, a bible story, a bible verse, crafts, games, and an object lesson. When we finished the stations we provided lunch for the kids and their parents. It was pretty cool because we got to eat amongst the kids and their parents. When we left the church, we came back to the house and we had some free time. After that we had debrief of what we did today. Then we had a delicious dinner and hung out. A little while after that, we headed off to a wonderful night of sleep.
