Faith, complete trust or confidence in someone or something. Faith is something our team used today. We had faith in Jesus to get us through this day. Today was a bit crazy to be honest. Don’t get me wrong it was a good kind of crazy. Today was just a little different. We went to a new church today. We have never been to this church before. The reason it was crazy was because it was all so new for us. I know this grew our team in many ways. Everyone did so great and were super involved. It was such an amazing experience.
We were also able to serve over 100 lunches to all the kids and their parents. After we passed out the lunches the pastor of the church thanked us and prayed for us. It was such a powerful moment to see our brothers and sisters in Christ praying for us. The daughter of the pastor said “it’s amazing how even though we have language barriers and are from different places we are unified in Christ.” That’s such a good reminder that even though we have differences we are unified through our relationship in Christ.
After we got back from the VBS we had lots of team time. Talking about the day and doing worship. We also had time to ourselves spending time in Gods word, which is a great way to reflect on our day.
Today was a great day! We got to invest in the lives of others. Grow our faith in Jesus. Spend time growing as a team. My team and I would love for you to continue to pray for our team. Pray that we will be a light to others and show love in all we do here.
“Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, a conviction of things not seen.”
Hebrews 11:1

Way to go Kids! New places can be scary, but do not be afraid. God tells us that in the Bible. Praying you reflect God’s awesome light & love to all you meet, and the ripple effect continues. Amen
